Testing Procedures
- Ensure the circuit or equipment under test is completely de-energised and isolated.
- Connect the test leads to the appropriate terminals on the megohmmeter and the equipment.
- Select the desired test voltage (250V, 500V, or 1000V) based on the equipment rating.
- Press the 'Test' button to apply the voltage and read the insulation resistance value on the digital display.
- Safely discharge the circuit after testing before removing the leads.
